57: Callout 2nd December 2010
Mobile 1 at the Callout in Compstall
- Type- NWAS Ambulance assistance
- Location- Compstall, near Marple Bridge, Stockport
- Time- 21:07
- Team Members- Kinder 15
- Duration- 1 Hour (15 manhours)
With continuing sub-zero temperatures (Hayfield was at -9 °C), the team was called out to assist an NWAS Paramedic with a patient. Road conditions off the main roads are atrocious and the Paramedic managed a sterling effort getting her estate car as far up the road as she did! Upon arrival at the incident, the Paramedic advised the situation was changing and we might/might not be required. After a short time, we were thanked for turning out and able to stand down the team as a Doctor had been called for and the patient was stable.
