We are looking for people between the ages of 18 and 55 with hill walking and mountaineering experience as we do not teach the basics of mountaineering, navigation and hill craft. If you think that's you then find out more about joining KMRT and read our frequently asked questions. KMRT is a voluntary organisation funded entirely by donations from the public.

  • Location – Kinder Plateau
  • Team members – 29 KMRT
  • Duration – 2 1/2 hours or 72.5 man hours

We were asked to locate 2 walkers on Kinder. Having spoken to them by phone, we were able to arrange a link up with one of our vehicles at Edale Cross before driving them back down to Hayfield.
